The First Tee has partnered with select colleges and universities around the country to offer merit-based scholarships to those students who exhibit outstanding leadership qualities and abilities in addition to scholastic excellence. The opportunity to become a Scholar is available only to participants of The First Tee who are seniors in high school, registered in the participant database, and who are active in their local Chapter at the time of application.

2013 Sport Clips Haircuts Scholarship Fund
The Sport Clips Haircuts Scholarship encourages participants of The Children's Course/The First Tee of Greater Portland to continue their education after high school. This may be in the form of college, community college, or trade school. Participants who best demonstrate life skills learned through The First Tee, as well as, need for financial aid will be considered for this $3,000 scholarship.
